hi, perhaps you can try norton to remove the virus and protect your PC, but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

Antivirus: These are programs and Scripts that are created to do malicious damage to your computer. If is a must have to have some form of Antivirus software.

Overall – 3.5/5 ( easy to use, great detection rate,poor delete)

Symantec Norton

Firewall – 5/5 ( blocks well, non intrusive)
Overall – 3/5 (nice interface, great firewall,antivirus needs work)

Kaspersky

Antivirus – 4.5/5 ( Great at detection and deletion)
Firewall – 3/5 ( Blocks well, not all, intrusive)
Overall – 4/5 ( Great choice, few false positives)

for a antivirus program I like AVG griesoft you can get a free version of it on there site and they now have started an antispyware program also available for free.

Alll sound good except for your antivirus program. TrendMicro beats Norton anytime.
