   Alll sound good except for your antivirus program. TrendMicro beats Norton anytime.

   for a antivirus program I like AVG griesoft you can get a free version of it on there site and they now have started an antispyware program also available for free.

   Basically, Trend Micro Pc-Cillin Internet Security is all around the best.

   Heres how I’d rate the antivirus programs, Ive used ‘em all.

   McAfee
   ———–
   Antivirus – 3/5 (rarely deletes viruses but detects well.)
   Firewall – 4/5 ( too overprotective, intrusive)
   Overall – 3.5/5 ( easy to use, great detection rate,poor delete)

   Symantec Norton
   ———————–
   Antivirus – 2/5 (poor detection, great deletion)
   Firewall – 5/5 ( blocks well, non intrusive)
   Overall – 3/5 (nice interface, great firewall,antivirus needs work)

   Kaspersky
   ————-
   Antivirus – 4.5/5 ( Great at detection and deletion)
   Firewall – 3/5 ( Blocks well, not all, intrusive)
   Overall – 4/5 ( Great choice, few false positives)

   Trend Micro Pc-Cillin
   —————————-
   Antivirus – 5/5 ( Few to no false positives, great detection.)
   Firewall – 3.5/5 ( Great, but no flexibility in blocking programs)
   Overall – 5/5 ( Easy to use,frequent updates, awsome AV/FW)

   Note that all of these come with some sort of antispyware and antispam.

   Trend Micro, in my opinion, is the best for your buck.

   Lets me first address what security are we buiding.

   These list below are what most online user are protecting there self from;

   Antivirus: These are programs and Scripts that are created to do malicious damage to your computer. If is a must have to have some form of Antivirus software.

   Spyware/Adware: These are the leaches that disguis themselves as legitimate programs ad such just to collect information off your computer without you knowing. Most free program has spyware embedded inside.

   Here’s my answer to you: There a TONS of SPYWARE Remover out there as well as PC security programs but if you really want the best information to finds what’s best for your particular computer environment listen below… :>)

   I advise you to just go to the two link below and you’ll find PC Saftety 101 which talks about the steps needed to secure your PC in plain language NOT tech talk, you understand quickly

   hi, perhaps you can try norton to remove the virus and protect your PC, but you need to pay for the software.

   i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

   besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

   firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
