The CCNA will definitely help. You should be able to get a decent job after taking the courses you mentioned, and it wont take long before you are in a leadership/management role.
Comptia Security+ is the only cert you will get. You have to take another test to get Net+ and two tests to get the A+ cert.
And yes, that is a good cert you are getting. I just finished getting my A+ and will test for the Net + in about a month. After that I will be learning what you are taking. Best to you!
From what I know, is that A+ will get you familiar with OS, hardware and networking. And the Microsoft Management Console(MMC) to set up all kinds of parameters, including security.
To pass the A+ you have to know personal conponents, laptops and portables, Operating Systems and the way around them, printers and scanners, networks, security, safety and enviroment, and finally communication and professionalism.
What you are doing is great. I want to be cert in security also. You are going to be in a specific field, which is a good thing with all the intrusion on the net and work places.
Also, now that I am certified and are learning Net+, I can say that there is definitely more for me to learn and understand than the requirements to pass the A+!
So, without studing what you are doing, I don’t know if it will make it easier for you or not. But this I do know, there sure is a WHOLE lot to LEARN!!!
Hopefully, when I am done with the Net+, the Security will come to me.
