You were very specific about your question and deserve an answer. Your computer more than meets the requirements for Vista Home Premium. However, I do NOT recommend it. Reason: You are going to have driver problems, firmware problems, and software compatability problems as well as security issues with Vista. I recommend you either wait on Vista for 2 years, or better yet, get a better operating system, such as Kubuntu for free at
You will be sorry if you get Vista!!!
Your computer shuold be able to run it just fine. I would run this first,. It will analyze your system and tell you what versions you should be able to run. There really aren’t as many issues with it as some might have you believe. You can go here, to see if anything you’ve got is incompatable.

Hi,
You should really refrain from upgrading to Vista unless you have time for issues and problems. Vista will be best if used by 9/12/2008.
