Just remember nothing is for free. Most free antivirus programs are good and some do more harm than good. But if you really want to correct a virus infection than you are going to have to buy the program. That’s aleast what most want you to do.
The definition of geek has changed considerably over time, and there is no longer a definitive meaning. The terms nerd, gimp, dweeb, dork and spod have similar meanings as geek, but many choose to identify different connotations amongst these terms, although the differences are disputed. In a 2007 interview on The Colbert Report, Richard Clarke said the difference between nerds and geeks is “geeks get it done.”
Origin
The word geek is a slang term, noting individuals as “a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc.”[1] Formerly, the term referred to a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken, bat, snake or bugs. The 1976 edition of the American Heritage Dictionary included only the definition regarding geek shows.
Nerds are not cool but Geeks are. Compare them and see the difference.
Geek: (g?k)
Noun
1.a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, esp. one who is perceived to be overly intellectual.
2.a computer expert or enthusiast (a term of pride as self-reference, but often considered offensive when used by outsiders.)
Nerd: [nurd]
Noun Slang.
1. a stupid, irritating, ineffectual, or unattractive person.
2. an intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit: a computer nerd.
Origin The first documented appearance of the word nerd is as the name of a creature in Dr. Seuss’s book If I Ran the Zoo 1950, An alternate spelling, as nurd, also began to appear in the mid-1960s to early ’70s. Knurd Drunk spelled backwards which was used to refer to people who rather study than party.
Kaspersky and eset nod32 are the best.
Avira is the best free one and beats most of the paid ones too. for anti spyware get malwarebytes antimalware and asquaredfree and possibly spybot sd if you know how to use the advanced mode its very useful. and i use zonealarm or comodo with proactive defense depending on which of my computers im on.
whats the best anti virus then? you dont need to pay a penny to have good protection… and i have used all the other anti virus programs like kaspersky and nod32.
lol me too. Comodo Internet Security Free (Beast), AVG Free, Windows Defender, Spybot S & D, Malwarebytes, with Mozilla Firefox as my browser. Computer aint had a virus for about a year now. Lucky I got a decent PC to run all of the **** tho.
