infrared camera no picture PLEASE HELP?

flowerchild asked: New REmington Infrared security system hooked up in home to test, worked fine for a few minutes then went blank. Still has sound. Hooked up another camera so monitor is fine. What could cause this? The camera was around no heat sources or covered in anyway.
