My guess is that when you were taking off the dash panel, you damaged or displaced the Passkey receiver ring that&#039;s mounted around the key switch.  This is what gets the signal from the transponder chip in your key, allowing the vehicle to start.  There&#039;s no way to bypass this anti-theft system.  You&#039;ll probably need to have the ignition switch assembly repaired.</description>
